“ Came here after seeing lots of highly rated reviews and it didn't disappoint. A welcoming friendly environment and a good menu to choose from. I kept it simple and got the two most popular options the American breakfast and desi breakfast. Both were really nice and the touch of fruit helps to digest the more heavier items on the plate. The pistachio latte went down a treat too. Parking can be somewhat difficult here so bare that in mind however there is a train station quite literally next door. ”

The food was tasty, but despite requesting less oil or butter, it was still quite greasy — I’d suggest they pay closer attention to special requests. The downstairs seating area is spacious and comfortable. Overall, a good spot with room for improvement. ”

The menu was impressively adaptive, which was much appreciated as we had a non-meat eater in our group and there were great options available. I had the truffle chicken burger, which was excellent — a generous portion, full of flavour, and very reasonably priced, especially in these economically trying times with the cost-of-living crisis. Great quality without breaking the bank. The location is also a big plus — literally about 10 steps from Upton Park tube station, making it super convenient. And a special mention for the mojitos: absolutely to die for, perfectly sized, and again at just the right price. I would definitely recommend Kaffiend to anyone looking for good food, great drinks, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere in Upton Park. We’ll certainly be back! ”
